Hello all!
My name is Scott Sellers and this will be my first time attending Mountain Moot. The reason for attending is to get to know more of the LMS community and hopefully get more incites of what can be done with our LMS.
I am a Senior Consultant for CGI, on my 27th year with the company. Originally from Arizona, moved to Sacramento California to work for CGI. My current project is with the Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS). DHSS provides an alternative to placing individuals into care centers by allowing care givers (family members or friends) to care for these individuals in their homes and get reimbursed for their time. This project does the case management for this statewide system as well as all the accounting processes.
Our LMS host Self-Paced Trainings (SPTs) for our internal project staff on the tools we use for maintaining the project, host the SPTs for county facing staff for case management, and an upcoming Academy for State staff that will contain a host of different training models (which used to be hosted by another LMS). So our LMS is quite dynamic with the 3 ‘separate’ training environments.
I’m looking forward to meeting you all, since this is my first time coming out to Montana, I’m dragging my wife, Sheri, along. She’s an Executive Director for one of our hospital systems out here in California. Although she won’t be attending the conference, I hope you get to know her if she can attend the after-conference activities with me, we can pay her way.
