I left the corporate world about 5 years ago to teach while pursing my EdD from Idaho State University. I chose ISU because they offered an emphasis on Instructional Design and Technology. I was an "accidental" ID with some LMS management experience when I worked for a franchising company, so I wanted to learn more. I used Moodle as a student at ISU and as an instructor at UMW.
